This page explains how Lily Faire collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website or sign up for the newsletter. It is written to be plain about what happens with your data.

Newsletter Signups and Bonus Scenes

When you request the free bonus scenes, you are taken to a BookFunnel page where you can enter your email address. That email address is collected so I can send you the bonus scenes and add you to the Lily Faire newsletter.

I use your email address only to send newsletters, new-release announcements, bonus content, and occasional updates about the Seaside Square series. I do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing.

BookFunnel handles the delivery and email capture on my behalf. They store your email address securely and are bound by their own privacy policy. I do not collect names, mailing addresses, payment information, or any other personal details through this site.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the website. Google Analytics collects anonymous information such as which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and the general source of traffic (for example, a TikTok link or a search result).

This data does not identify you personally. I use it to see what content readers enjoy, which books get the most interest, and how well the site is working. I do not combine analytics data with newsletter email addresses.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using a browser blocker or by adjusting your cookie settings. Google also offers a browser add-on that disables Google Analytics across all sites.

Cookies and Tracking

This site may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help services remember preferences and measure usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.

Some links on this site, including Amazon book links and the BookFunnel bonus-scenes link, may include basic tracking parameters so I can see which traffic sources lead readers to those pages. These parameters do not contain personal information.

This site relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to function:

• BookFunnel delivers the free bonus scenes and collects email addresses for the newsletter.

Your Choices

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and your email address will be removed from the mailing list.

If you would like to know what information I have about you, or if you want it deleted entirely, you can contact me directly and I will take care of it.

Data Retention

I keep email addresses only as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your email is deleted from the mailing list. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for a limited period to help improve the site.

Security

I take reasonable precautions to protect your information. The services I use employ industry-standard security measures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults. The books are open-door, 18+ romances. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
